Free advice(Conventional Wisdom)

Most of us come face this statement at least once  ---"Sharma Ji ka beta Engineer bna hai,vo bhi IIT se .Uska package 20 lakh hai.Main bhi apne bete ko IIT mein dekhna chaahta" .The scenario may vary,the name may change from Sharma to Verma or anyone else but the crux remains same .We are living in a society of morally & emotionally   uneducated  people ,where everyone is adviced to do something or the other irrespective of what we want .If I tell my mother that love marriage is more successful as we are aware of or life partner .She has one answer ---"Tum Abhi badhe ni hue ho.Apni marzi se shaadi krne vaalon ki life barbaad ho jaati  "etc etc.I am the younger sibling so  I am offered free advice for everything ."Beta tu padh le ,beta aaj padh lo,40 k hokar aish hi aish kroge,beta kaayde se hug le(pun intended) ,beta ye ,beta vo." When I interacted with my fellow students ,I found it was a situation which everyone faces.Every elder person advices the younger person .Its like a free advice offered to everyone .This is what I term as "Conventional Wisdom" , a wisdom as per the conventions.As I am writing this blog ,my mum is yelling at me "Padhai vagarah krta ni ,saare din phone p lga  rehta(Practical example of Conventional wisdom  )"So I will stop typing ,.........Maa main jaa RHA nahaane....

The "One"

All those who know me closely ,know that I am absent from "common emotions " and don't let them overpower me. Few days back my mausi asked me --"Palash(My nickname) do u have a gf"?I answered in negative.I was in a deep thought for a long time about who is "the one". Then I got the answer ,who she could be.The " one" I always crave for must have some distinct qualities.She must an engineer probably from electrical /electronics(or both) engineer.She must be very talkative but also be  a good listener.I would love to date a non-pahadi girl.If she is a good dancer,it would be better because I am a decent singer(Opposites attract ).She may not have a good communication skill but when I look at those eyes,I must feel answers to all my questions in those eyes .She must me naughty & Decent at the same time .As I hardly panick ,she must have an opposite nature(so that I can calm her down).She should not be arrogant ,I hate these kinda people .If she is studious ,it would be better because I am not studious at all .She should have a helpful nature.Lastly I will say she should be someone who makes me feel that I have  some good reason for my  existence .Maybe I know  "the one" ,maybe not.Maybe she knows me ,maybe not.Maybe ,maybe.........Considering  about all these specifics ,I prefer being single because "maybe" I don't get a girl like this ...Final answer is again "maybe "
